Job summary

Graybar Canada is seeking a Warehouse Support at our Corner Brook, NL branch. You will assist in picking orders, shipping/receiving, and loading/unloading trucks, with forklift responsibility provided training.

The role emphasizes accuracy, inventory counting, and organizing the warehouse while following safety protocols. Candidates should have a Grade 12 education and an interest in progressing within the organization; a forklift skill is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Previous warehouse handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Willingness to progress within the organization.
• Comfort with computers and multiple operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in picking orders, shipping and receiving, load and unload trucks.
• Reading purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered and/or shipped.
• Use of forklift, training provided by Graybar Canada.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins.
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wearing the proper safety equipment.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Ability to do light to moderate lifting (up to 60 lbs).
• An interest in progressing within our organization.
• Competent with computer and various operating systems.

Base start salary: $42,500
