Job summary

Adecco is currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for a full-time opportunity in Brampton, ON. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional with supervisory skills who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead staff, and ensure receiving, storage, and shipping are performed safely and efficiently, while maintaining high standards. Mon-Fri day schedule with weekly pay and benefits after 600 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Secondary School Diploma required; College Diploma in Chemistry or Business is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Knowledge of provincial and federal regulations related to chemical manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is considered a strong asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate receiving, storage, and shipping activities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to warehouse employees, including Operations Clerks, Operators, Drivers, Lead Hands, Shipper/Receivers, and other operations staff.
• Support warehouse administrative staff with SAP business system activities and operational processes.
• Act as the primary site supervisor when site management is absent.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance warehouse efficiency and employee productivity.
• Assist in maintaining plant assets, housekeeping standards, and equipment performance while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely movement of products and customer orders.
• Promote client’s Core Values and support compliance with company policies and business practices.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and evaluating warehouse employees.
• Support and enforce Job 7 product shipment best practices.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching to achieve operational objectives.
• Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring all employees follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
