Job summary

Canadian Base Operators is hiring a Storesperson in Meaford, Ontario, reporting to the Stores Supervisor. The role focuses on securing and accounting for clothing and equipment, issuing items, and performing stock checks in the main warehouse.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma and familiarity with SOPs, strong communication, and teamwork. A Government of Canada Security Clearance is required; related assets include SAP, forklift operations, and warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DND policies and procedures.
• 2+ years experience with SAP, forklift operation and related warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving as per SOPs; ensure items are adequate.
• Pick items to be issued; transmit issues and liaise with Inventory Control.
• Review stock inventory and quality; issue clean and serviceable stock.
• Respond to customer requests and assist loading of bulky stock.
• Process receipts, exchanges, returns and accept stock returned; confirm serviceability.
