Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary in supply chain, logistics or related field encouraged.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse, manufacturing or distribution experience in metals/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts/overhead cranes) and saw equipment is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office) and ERP usage for orders and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Material handling: move material safely with forklifts/overhead cranes.
• Order processing: pick, package, and prepare material per specs.
• Equipment operation: cut material with band saw, cold saw, etc.
• Inventory management: receive stock and store properly.
• System transactions: process stock transfers and updates in ERP.
• Safety: follow procedures, inspections, maintain clean work area.
• Assist Manager with additional duties as needed.
