Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a reliable warehouse associate to support daily operations in our Burlington-area facility. You will load/unload, receive shipments, and pick/pack customer orders to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Ideal candidates have prior warehouse experience, basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), and are able to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is a plus, and WHMIS/TDG knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
• Forklift certification would be an asset.
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy.
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment.
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight delivery schedule.
• Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
