Job summary

Advantage Personnel is seeking a Sanitation Associate for a warehouse role in Guelph, ON. The position involves cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a hygienic environment in line with food-safety standards.

The ideal candidate has prior cleaning experience in a food-grade facility, is capable of walking/standing for long periods, can operate industrial cleaning machines, and has reliable transportation to the site. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production, warehouse, and common areas.
• Clean and disinfect equipment, machinery, floors, walls, and surfaces using cleaning tools.
• Follow sanitation schedules and documented procedures.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies.
• Remove waste and recyclables from designated areas.
• Inspect work areas for cleanliness and compliance with standards.
• Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations including PPE.
• Support GMPs and food safety initiatives.
• Maintain sanitation records and complete required documentation.

Job Title : Sanitation Associate- Warehouse
Location: Guelph (Aberfoyle), ON
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday (days and/or afternoons)

Pay Rate:$22.00 - 23.00/hr.

Our client, a leading distributor of food-grade products, is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate for an upcoming role. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety and quality standards.

Job Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production, warehouse, and common areas in accordance with food safety standards.
• Clean and disinfect equipment, machinery, floors, walls, and work surfaces using industrial cleaning tools and equipment
• Follow sanitation schedules and documented cleaning procedures.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies.
• Remove waste, recyclables, and other materials from designated areas.
• Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support quality assurance and food safety initiatives, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Maintain accurate sanitation records and complete required documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferably within a food graded facility
• Ability to walk, stand and bend within a large facility
• Previous experience with industrial cleaning machines
• Reliable transportation (no bus route)
