Job summary

Applied Canada is seeking a diligent Shipping/Receiving Associate to join our Saskatchewan facility. You will receive and ship materials, sort and label items, prepare sales orders for outbound shipments, manage bin locations, and maintain accurate records to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in industrial distribution.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Parts management experience a plus.
• Customer service driven and detail oriented.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship all materials and products accurately and promptly.
• Sort material, stock shelves, pick orders, package and label materials.
• Prepare sales orders for outbound shipment and manage bin locations.
• Organize and maintain records and files; stay current on service offerings.
• Collaborate with departments to deliver excellent customer service and training.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Receiving and shipping all materials and products in an accurate and timely manner
• Sort material, stock shelves, pick orders, package and label materials
• Pick and prepare sales orders for outbound shipment
• Utilize and manage bin locations
• Organize and maintain all applicable records and files
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings
• Maintain cooperative and productive inter-departmental relationships to deliver exceptional customer service
• Take personal responsibility for and actively engage in product, systems and skill training and development

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications

• Experience in shipping and receiving; preferably within an industrial distribution setting
• Forklift operation experience
• Parts Management experience
• Customer service driven
• Motivated and willing to learn
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
