Job summary

Walmar is seeking a warehouse associate in Cornwall, Ontario, to receive freight at the distribution centre. You will unload shipments, verify quantities, and transport goods to the appropriate departments, while assembling pallets per Ti/Hi specifications.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, steel-toed safety shoes on day one, and strict adherence to stock receiving policies and health and safety rules. Accurate paperwork, including BOL and stamps, must be completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Age – 18 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Must have steel-toed safety shoes/boots on first day.

Responsibilities

• Unloading of freight and verifying product and count prior to receiving.
• Transportation of freight to designated departments.
• Assembling pallets according to Ti/Hi and other specifications.
• Adhering to all Stock Receiving policies and procedures.
• Timely and accurate completion of paperwork (e.g., BOL, receiver stamps, overage/shortage).
