Job summary

hrsystem is seeking a Production Specialist to support manufacturing and distribution operations in a production/warehouse environment. Responsibilities include assembling, picking, shipping, and occasional customer delivery, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The role demands teamwork, basic math, and mechanical aptitude, with a focus on quality and process improvements, while adhering to company policies and on-site safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• 3-5 years of related warehousing or production experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, if required.

Responsibilities

• Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer’s standards.
• Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction.
• Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.
• Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping.
• Delivers product as required.
• Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable).
• Assists with physical inventory.
• Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified for.
