Position Overview:

Finning Canada is seeking a temporary Warehouseperson / Material Supply Assistant for a maternity leave coverage (approximately 18 months). You will be responsible for general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties at our facility in Red Deer.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• General Warehouse duties
• Picking and packing customer and branch parts orders for shipment
• Sorting and binning incoming stock
• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
• Dismantling and reassembly of racking
• Adhering to strict timelines
• Other duties as assigned

This is a Monday to Friday (5x2) shift schedule. Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Any future shift changes will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• TDG and WHMIS certification; forklift training is an asset
• Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, computer literacy
• Forklift training and experience with radio frequency and barcoding technology are assets
• A strong commitment to safety is essential

Candidate selection will comply with the current Collective Agreement.
