Job summary

Medline Canada is hiring a Warehouse Operator 1 in Dartmouth, NS. The role involves receiving, processing and storing inventory, picking/packing orders, and maintaining accurate records. You must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent distribution or warehouse experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using RF scanner or manual picking preferred but not required.
• Licensed forklift experience is a strong asset.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack order in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required.
• Coordinates activities surrounding the warehouse operations.
• Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations.
• Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions.
• Organize stock and maintain inventories.
• Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment.
• Report on any unsafe work conditions that may occur.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
