This position reports to

Service Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

For the Robotics & Discrete Automation Business, we are looking for a Shipping/Receiving & Warehouse Operator to join our Robotics Customer Service organization located in Milton, Ontario, Canada.

  1. Responsible for unloading/unpacking and packing/loading of materials and robots.
  2. Verify deliveries, inspect for damage, and receive goods in the ERP system.
  3. Organize transportation of robots and parts with couriers.
  4. Issue proper documentation for shipping of parts and robots.
  5. Manage Goods Issue in the ERP system.
  6. Manage Material Reservation.
  7. Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items and issue NCRs.
  8. Organize and store received material in appropriate areas.
  9. Ensure all received material is adequately labelled for traceability.
  10. Stage material for Production.
  11. Perform Inventory Counts.
  12. Perform Incoming inspections of materials.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team lead or management.
  14. Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Qualifications for the role
  1. Proficient in SAP with hands-on experience.
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Experienced with Microsoft Office suite, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  4. Forklift certification (overhead crane, electric, and propane forklift).
  5. TDG Certificate (transport of dangerous goods).
  6. 2-4 years of shipping and receiving experience.
  7. High school diploma.
  8. Able to do repetitive work.
  9. Able to lift 50 lbs.
  10. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
