Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Kamloops, British Columbia

Description

We are seeking a talented Warehouse Operator to join our team in Kamloops, British Columbia. In this role, you will:

• Follow established procedures to receive, handle, store, and dispatch goods.
• Check for damages and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Sort, label, and store goods efficiently to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch goods according to requests.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including routine housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and report issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimal work experience required; warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights with proper PPE.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with standing and lifting tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• This position follows the Teamsters Local Union #213 collective agreement.

Education and Certifications
