Location: BC Place Stadium, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Sodexo Live! is the Official Supplier of Food and Beverage Services to BC Place Stadium.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the Purchasing/Warehouse Manager with all daily/event operations of the warehouse.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Create and control processes for all physical transferring out of the warehouse, building a system of accountability in collaboration with your manager.
  • Supervise warehouse workers in their daily duties, maintaining a daily workflow, and keeping staff on task and moving.
  • Receive, store, and distribute all food and non‑food items, keeping track of shortages and NAs and communicating those to managers.
  • Supervise staff to receive all products into the building and deliver to the correct location, noting and communicating any discrepancies.
  • Perform monthly inventory, involving the proper counting and reporting of all items.
  • Perform perpetual inventory, involving the counting and reporting of key items on a weekly basis.
  • Supervise event warehouse operations, taking calls and delegating any warehouse needs to all staff, keeping on tasks and making sure the stadium is well stocked and running smoothly.
  • Keep track of beer systems and maintain beer menus and lines cleaning in compliance with concessions in event.
  • Create and maintain a weekly/monthly cleaning schedule and enforce it among staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.
Qualifications/Skills
  • High school diploma.
  • Three years' experience in the receipt, storage or distribution of food and beverage, supplies or equipment.
  • Two years at the supervisory level in entertainment or convention center venues.
  • Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate the same with others.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
Other Requirements
  • Able to work safely in wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly‑quartered environment.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Salary: $25.00 per hour.
