Ashley Canada is looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Clearance Centre at 333 Matheson Blvd W. in Mississauga. You will assist in visual presentation, warehousing, and customer service to help guests find the perfect home furnishings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience is an asset.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store)for our Clearance Centre store located at 333 Matheson Blvd W.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store), you will:

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
