Job summary

Wolseley Canada in Saskatoon is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, drive safety, and optimize space and productivity in a fast-paced distribution setting.

You will oversee workflow, train staff, enforce standards, and support employee development while maintaining excellent customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the distribution/warehouse field, ideally in a Plumbing / HVAC/R related field.
• Strong organizational and people management skills.
• Fluency in both French and English would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Direct managerial responsibilities for the Saskatoon warehouse.
• Act as a functional leader and supervise team performance.
• Ensure safety standards and housekeeping are maintained at all times.
• Plan schedules, optimize dock operations and space usage, and support employee development.
• Coach and train staff on processes, equipment usage, and material handling.
• Monitor performance and identify top performers for development potential.

The Opportunity

Join the Saskatoon location as a Warehouse Manager and play a key role in leading daily warehouse operations. In this hands‑on leadership position, you will oversee workflow, optimize warehouse space and productivity, support employee development, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment. We are looking for a customer‑focused leader with strong organizational and people management skills who thrives in a fast‑paced distribution environment and is committed to operational excellence. Experience in the plumbing, HVAC/R, or distribution industry is considered a strong asset.

What you will do:

• Direct managerial responsibilities are applicable.
• Acts as a functional leader.
• Responsible for disciplinary action of the team members.
• Administers workflow and prepares work schedules of team members in such a way that work flow meets customer service standards.
• Uses appropriate means to optimize the efficiency of the receiving docks and the space available.
• Optimize the space and the productivity in his field of responsibility in the warehouse.
• Responsible for the proper maintenance and usage of equipment and machinery and anticipated repairs or concerns.
• Trains employees on proper processes and sub-processes,
• Trains on specific tasks such as proper equipment usage, material handling and maintenance.
• Determines positions to be rotated and considered for training and encourages cross training between all team members.
• Provides coaching and supervision.
• Reports the ongoing performance of team members; identifies superior performers with development potential.
• See to the application of safety standards.
• Ensures all team members achieve proper housekeeping within area of responsibility.
• Ensures area of responsibility is well maintained, productive and in compliance with the companies policies and procedures.

What you will bring:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the distribution/warehouse field, ideally in a Plumbing / HVAC/R related field.
