Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a reliable warehouse associate in Calgary to support daily receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. You will help load and unload goods, verify shipments, and place items in proper locations to ensure on-time deliveries.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn safety procedures. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, retirement programs, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience required.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift certification or ability to be certified is a plus.
  • WHMIS and TDG knowledge would be an asset.
  • General computer skills including basic software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload products to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments.
  • Store items in correct warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders with documentation.
  • Ensure safe handling and housekeeping in the warehouse.

What you will do
  • Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
  • Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
  • Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
  • Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
  • Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
What you will bring
  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
  • Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
  • Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
  • Forklift certified or ability to be certified
  • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
  • Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
  • Outdoor yard work to be performed as required #INDWAR
