Job summary

Wolseley Canada is a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC/R, waterworks and industrial products with a network of locations across Canada. The role involves loading, unloading, and processing warehouse orders during the 2 pm - 10 pm shift, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and safety in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must be dependable and willing to take initiative.
• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
• Knowledge of plumbing/HVAC products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and check for accuracy.
• Put away products in correct warehouse locations promptly.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders with proper documentation.
• Load items into trucks, maintaining safe handling and schedule.
• Secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety procedures in the warehouse.

What you will do

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
• Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
• Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.

What you will bring

• Previous warehouse experience required
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
• Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
• Shift timing: 2 pm - 10 pm #INDWAR
