Job summary

DSV Bolton is seeking a Warehouse Operator Specialist to guide daily warehouse activities including picking, shipping and receiving. The role requires leading associates, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with drivers and customers from our CAN facility.

You will be responsible for shift meetings, KPI boards, and ensuring high levels of service while performing general admin tasks. This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, accurate communication, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse role (3PL preferred).
• Certified to operate materials handling equipment (MHE) when required.
• GMP trained when required.
• Must be able to continuously lift, push and pull items up to 50 lbs.
• Strong planning and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor and provide guidance and direction to associates.
• Escalate non-routine matters to supervisor.
• Run shift meetings when required.
• Repetitive lifting of items up to 50lbs.
• Maintain Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
• Lead by example in demonstrating safe work habits and proper techniques to improve performance.
• Maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
• Maintain and promote professional communication with drivers, customers and warehouse personnel.
• Maintain KPI boards, where required.
• Perform other general administrative/warehouse duties and tasks as assigned.
