McCain Foods (Canada) in Grand Falls, NB seeks a Lead Hand in Warehouse to supervise and support safe, efficient loading dock activities. You will backfill critical roles, oversee forklift operations, and ensure accuracy of shipping documentation.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety, and collaboration with transportation carriers and cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift experience and operating lift equipment.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using SAP, WMS, and TMS is an asset.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support daily operation of warehouse and loading dock activities for safe product flow.
• Act as trained backup for Shipper and Dock Foreman during vacations or absences.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents for accuracy.
• Inspect trailers for loading suitability and compliance.
• Coordinate dock assignments and trailer movements to maximize efficiency.
• Organize shipment schedules and assist with load prioritization to meet customer needs.
• Utilize SAP, WMS, and TMS to support shipping, inventory, and operations.
• Lead and support safe loading of transport trucks and promote safe practices.
