Job summary

Wolseley Canada in Sarnia is seeking a Warehouse Lead Hand to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment and shipping. You will be reliable, organized and able to maintain a safe, efficient environment while meeting customer commitments.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), strong customer service, and a proactive mindset. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive hourly pay of $22.25.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Knowledge of Industrial products is an asset.
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy.
• Incoming and outgoing inspection, validate and retrieve MTRS for full traceability.
• Create and tag valves according to specifications.
• Work with local delivery company and complete manifests.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Lead annual inventory count.
• Complete cycle counts dailyIdentify non conformances and quarantine when necessary.
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment.
• Liaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
