Job summary

Lineage is hiring for a warehouse role in Canada. You will partner with Operations Leadership, assign work to associates, and ensure service, quality, safety, and productivity meet company standards.

The role requires hands-on supervision in a fast-paced environment and handling daily shipping, receiving, and paperwork. Key duties include directing tasks, coaching staff, data entry for inventory, and coordinating transport.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience required.
• AS400 experience is a plus.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• 3 years in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates.
• Handle inbound and outbound paperwork (orders).
• Coach and train team members.
• Process and coordinate shipping and receiving documents.
• Enter customer and supplier information and inventory data.
• Support pickup/delivery appointments based on service needs.
• Maintain and audit driver logs and reports.
• Interface with internal customers daily and support initiatives.
• Assist with invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
• Report defective products and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage warehouse associate responsibilities including forklift operation.
• Handle daily inspections of equipment and trailers.

Job description

Monday through Friday

7am - 3pm

Partner with Operations Leadership to make sure all functions of the warehouse are completed. Assign work to warehouse associates to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area
• Handle inbound and outbound paperwork (processing orders)
• Coaching & training team members
• Process and coordinate shipping and receiving documents across several customers daily
• Enter customer and supplier information and inventory management data accurately
• Support the arrangement of pick up/delivery appointments based on service and schedule requirements
• Maintain, generate, and audit driver logs and transportation reports
• Interface with internal customers daily and support initiatives as assigned by manager
• Assist with invoicing and account receivables collection
• Report defective or damaged products and follow up with appropriate corrective action in a timely manner
• Manage warehouse associate responsibilities as needed including loading and unloading, forklift operation, product relocation, etc.
• Handle and document daily inspections including equipment inspections and inbound/outbound trailer inspections
• Check inbound/outbound shipments for compliance, and report quantity difference and quality issues where applicable
• Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service
• Coach and provide feedback to warehouse associates
• Perform assigned projects as instructed

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Administrative experience
• WMS "AS400" experience is a plus
• Experience with Material handling equipment
• 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$24.81 - $38.80
