Job summary

Dessert Holdings is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator for our London, Ontario facility. The role involves shipping, receiving and inventory tasks in a cold warehouse environment with Crown Reach/Standup Reach forklift operation.

The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift license, be able to operate Crown Reach equipment, and work a flexible schedule. Strong attention to detail and good Math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive Crown Reach, Standup Reach Truck.
• Valid forklift license required.
• Comfortable working in cold temperatures down to -30°C.
• Legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
• Scheduling flexibility.
• Able to work independently and stay organized.
• Proficient with computer applications and quick to learn new systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Staging and setup of packaging materials.
• Picking and storing raw materials.
• Prepare next day's receiving tickets.
• Receive raw materials.
• Locate products in the warehouse; operate forklift.
• Order selection and loading of trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping in receiving/shipping areas.
• Inventory cycle counts.
• Operate power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies.
• Follow procedures, safety practices and company policy.

Dessert Holdings is currently seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to become a part of our dynamic team at our London, Ontario facility. This individual will work in the warehouse, performing shipping, receiving and inventory related duties.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Staging /set up of packaging materials in respective packaging departments
• Picking and storing of raw materials
• Preparation of next day's receiving tickets
• Receiving of raw materials
• Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required
• Order selection and loading of trailers
• Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
• Inventory cycle counts
• Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies
• Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy

Position Requirements

• MUST be able to drive aCrown ReachStandupReach Truck
• Must have a valid forklift license
• Must be comfortable working in cold temperatures that go up to - 30C
• Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.

Shift

• B-shift: Flexible (4days a week)2:30 PMto 1:00 AM
• C-shift: Flexible (5 days a week) 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Pay Rate:

$25.54per hour(probationary), $28.38per hour (full rate)
