Job summary

SNDL Inc. in Calgary seeks a warehouse/delivery associate to safely deliver orders to designated stores from our Calgary warehouse, loading and unloading goods as needed and ensuring accurate handling of stock. Must have a high school diploma, a Class 5 license, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Strong teamwork, communication, and safety mindset are essential, with flexibility to work weekends when required. This role emphasizes reliability, customer service, and compliance with OHS/regulatory

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible shifts including weekends during holidays.
  • First-Aid Certificate is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Fill orders from warehouse stock.
  • Deliver orders to stores in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload orders and operate basic material handling equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Complete related paperwork and quality checks.
  • Possess ability to pass a background check.
  • Adhere to OHS and regulatory requirements.

About The Role

Delivers orders safely and efficiently to designated store locations within a set timeframe while ensuring proper handling and delivery of orders. Facilitate the loading and unloading of orders.

Day to Day Operations
  • As required, fill orders from warehouse stock
  • Deliver orders to stores in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
  • Loading and off‑loading trucks
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Regulatory Adherence
  • Ensure that OHS, LP other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered to
  • Maintain LP and OHS Training
  • Adheres to ALCANNA policies, with a focus on Social Responsibility
  • Completion of Defensive Driving Awareness Course
Work Experience & Education
  • Minimum, 1-year experience in a warehouse environment (preferred, not required)
  • Previous experience operating a 5-ton vehicle
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Class 5 License
  • First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset
  • Physical Requirements
  • Available to work flexible shifts (Monday – Friday), including weekends during holidays (as required)
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to regularly make a variety of body movements including but not limited sitting, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, crouching
  • Able to stand for an extended period
  • Comfortable climbing ladders
