Job summary

SNDL is seeking a delivery associate for the Edmonton Liquor Warehouse. You will deliver orders to designated stores, load and unload cargo, and assist with order fulfillment from warehouse stock. You will work in a fast-paced environment ensuring timely deliveries and proper handling of products.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a valid Class 5 license, and a safety-conscious approach. Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a warehouse (preferred)
• Valid Class 5 License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• First-Aid certificate is asset
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

About the Role

Delivers orders safely and efficiently to designated store locations within a set timeframe while ensuring proper handling and delivery of orders. Facilitate the loading and unloading of orders.

Day to Day Operations

• As required, fill orders from warehouse stock
• Deliver orders to stores in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
• Loading and off-loading trucks
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
• Other duties as assigned

Regulatory Adherence

• Ensure that OHS, LP other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered to
• Maintain LP and OHS Training
• Adheres to ALCANNA policies, with a focus on Social Responsibility
• Completion of Defensive Driving Awareness Course

Work Experience & Education

• Minimum, 1-year experience in a warehouse environment (preferred, not required)
• Previous experience operating a 5-ton vehicle
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class 5 License
• First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset

Physical Requirements

• Available to work flexible shifts (Monday - Friday), including weekends during holidays (as required)
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to regularly make a variety of body movements including but not limited sitting, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, crouching
• Able to stand for an extended period
• Comfortable climbing ladders
