Forney Enterprises is hiring a Warehouse & Customer Service Coordinator on a part-time basis to manage daily warehouse operations, order processing and customer enquiries. The role includes collaboration with Root & Pestle and Forney wholesale, with training and handover before the current coordinator goes on annual leave.
Initial part-time hours will be set during recruitment, with potential extension into maternity cover from March 2027 (about 30 hours/week, may be shared).
The coordinator serves as the central point of coordination for warehouse operations, online and wholesale dispatch, and customer communications across Root & Pestle and Forney wholesale, ensuring smooth movement of orders from our Forest Glen warehouse and timely responses to external enquiries.
The role maintains regular liaison with wholesale partners regarding orders and dispatch, aligns order and shipment details with Finance for invoicing accuracy without performing finance tasks, and manages the general enquiries inbox, escalating specialist queries as required.
Working hours and commencement
This position will initially involve part time hours alongside our current coordinator, with working days and hours agreed during recruitment.
We are seeking someone to commence ideally by 6 November 2026, and no later than 13 November 2026, to allow sufficient time for structured training and handover before our current coordinator begins annual leave on 20 November. Availability for this handover period is essential, with the training schedule agreed during recruitment.
Availability to assist with annual leave cover between 20 and 30 November 2026 would be highly regarded. You do not need to be available every day during this period. We’re happy to discuss your availability and agree on a schedule that provides adequate coverage.
From approximately March 2027, maternity leave cover is expected to involve approximately 30 hours per week across the role, depending on order volumes. These hours may be covered by one employee or shared between two part time employees. Applicants who wish to remain part time are welcome to apply.
The maternity cover period and employment arrangement will be discussed during recruitment. Occasional additional hours, including weekend afternoons, may be available by agreement to assist with order preparation and stock organisation.
