Job summary

The Stevens Company is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to support daily operations at our distribution center in Canada. You will coordinate receiving, shipping, and inventory control while maintaining accurate records and prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse or distribution, familiarity with WMS, RF scanning, and equipment like reach trucks. Competent communication with carriers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in distribution/warehouse/inventory management.
  • Forklift certification is an asset (Raymond Reach).
  • Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Inventory control and cycle counting.
  • RF scanners and barcode technology.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams).
  • Reach truck and electric pallet jack operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform cycle counts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and maintain warehouse records.
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal departments for timely deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and ensure safety compliance.
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and prioritizing activities.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is an asset.
  • Support continuous improvement to increase warehouse efficiency.

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our distribution warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating inventory, shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and maintain accurate warehouse records.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and prioritizing warehouse activities.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification is considered an asset).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Distribution/Warehouse/Inventory Management Role at least 3 years
  • Forklift Operator an asset - RAYMOND REACH
  • Must be customer centric and have very strong communication skills.
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Inventory Control & Cycle Counting
  • RF Scanners & Barcode Technology
  • Microsoft tools like Outlook, Word,Teams
  • Reach Truck & Electric Pallet Jack Operations
