Job description

A major oil and gas company is seeking a Warehouse Person in Grande Prairie. This role reports to the Warehouse Lead and supports an off-site warehouse maintained by the regional central warehouse. The position operates on a 5/2 shift schedule, with some weekends and call-outs during shutdown periods.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure materials at the controlled offsite location are organized, controlled, and replenished.
• Provide updates to Central Warehouse staff regarding field activities and concerns.
• Conduct physical inventory counts as required.
• Lead, manage, and support the policies, efforts, goals, and practices of the HSE Management System.
• Complete weekly report requirements.

Skills Required

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse/material handling.
• Journeyman Parts Certificate is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with SAP or Maximo is an asset.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record; GDL is not acceptable.
• Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.
• Valid safety tickets: WHMIS, TDG, First Aid, and H2S.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes south of Grande Prairie daily.
