Job description

A major oil and gas company is seeking a Warehouse Person in Grande Prairie. This role reports to the Warehouse Lead and supports an off-site warehouse location maintained by the regional central warehouse. The position operates on a 5/2 shift schedule, with some weekends and call-outs during shutdown periods.

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure materials at the controlled offsite location are organized, controlled, and replenished.
2. Provide updates to Central Warehouse staff on field activities and concerns.
3. Conduct physical inventory counts as required.
4. Lead, manage, and support the policies, efforts, goals, and practices of the HSE Management System.
5. Complete weekly report requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or material handling.
2. Journeyman Parts Certificate is an asset.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
4. Experience with SAP or Maximo is an asset.
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
6. Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record; no GDL.
7. Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
8. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety.
9. Valid safety tickets: WHMIS, TDG, First Aid, and H2S.
10. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
11. Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes south of Grande Prairie daily.
