Job summary

Unimax is seeking a warehouse worker in Bedford, NS to load and unload tire trailers, receive and ship merchandise, and maintain inventory.

This temporary position with potential permanence runs Monday to Friday. Qualified candidates should be physically fit, able to lift heavy loads, and willing to train as a stand‑up lift operator.

Qualifications

• Be in excellent physical shape and able to lift heavy loads.

• Must not fear heights as lifts can reach 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading tire trailers (manually).
• Receiving and shipping merchandise (Tires).
• Storing merchandise in accessible and appropriate locations in the warehouse;
• Preparing shipments for various clients.
• Completing various merchandise reception documents.
• Maintaining inventory of merchandise (Tires).
• Adjusting the locations of different products.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all company health and safety policies and practices.
• Participating in general warehouse maintenance.
