Sleep Country Canada is seeking a warehouse associate to pick orders, scan items with RF scanners, and load trucks. You will perform inventory counts, inspect goods, and maintain a safe, efficient workspace within a busy distribution environment.

The role requires lifting up to 88 lbs, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and familiarity with warehouse equipment and WMS systems. Join a collaborative team focused on service excellence.

Qualifications

High school diploma.
Ability to lift/move items up to 88lbs (40kg).
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to quickly think and solve problems.
Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct customer product order picks and load delivery trucks.
Complete inventory counts with Supervisor.
Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document.
Use RF Scanner to scan products and items into WMS system.
Complete customer pick-up orders and provide exceptional customer service.

Work with the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations.

Job Description

In this role you will:

Conduct customer product order picks and load delivery trucks

Use RF (Radio Frequency) Scanner to scan products and items into WMS system
Complete customer pick-up orders, as required, and provide exceptional customer service
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations and maintain a clean working environment
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, as required
Work together as part of the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

High school diploma
Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg)
Ability to work a flexible shift which may include evenings and weekends
Ability to think quickly and tackle problems
Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners
Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate material handling equipment (i.e.., forklift, pallet truck, order picker, walkie, reach truck, etc.)
Experience working within a warehouse environment and knowledge of warehouse management systems are considered assets
