Job summary

Gerrie Electric Wholesale LTD is seeking a Warehouse Representative to join our team in Ontario. You will be the face of Gerrie Electric, responsible for picking, packing, shipping, and receiving products while maintaining strong relationships with our customers across multiple channels.

You will engage with customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and learn about electrical, lighting, and automation products. Prior warehouse experience and computer literacy are valued as we grow together.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a career in the electrical industry.
• Material handling experience is an asset.
• Good communication skills and team orientation.
• Cable cutting experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• As a Warehouse Representative, you will ensure products are accurately picked, packed, shipped and received.
• Grow and maintain relationships with customers (repeat customers).
• Interact with customers to address questions and resolve issues via face-to-face, email, and phone.
• Continuously learn about electrical, lighting and automation products and share knowledge with customers.
• In-store merchandising of stock, including new and promotional products.
• Handle picking, packing, shipping and receiving of Gerrie product.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll be doing

As a Warehouse Representative, you will work as part of a team and act as the face of Gerrie Electric, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, shipped and received. You will also:

Grow and maintain relationships with customers (we have a lot of repeat customers)

You will connect with customers to address questions and resolve issues through different channels including face-to-face, by email and over the phone

Continuous learning of electrical, lighting and automation products and share your knowledge with customers

In-store merchandising of day-to-day stock, as well as new and promotional products

Picking, packing, shipping and receiving of Gerrie product.

Other duties as assigned (we'll keep you busy!)

What you bring to the table

Interested in pursuing a career in the electrical industry

Material handling experience is an asset

You have good communication skills and like the idea of working as part of a team

Cable cutting experience

Ability to work in a face paced environment

Previous experience working in a warehouse is an asset

Must be computer literate
