Job summary

UPS in Calgary, Alberta is hiring a warehouse package handler to load, unload, sort, and stock packages in a fast-paced environment. This role may involve operating heavy equipment and requires reliable transportation due to late-night hours.

Shift is Monday to Friday, with hours from 10 pm to 6 am and daily hours ranging 3–5 depending on volumes. Start pay is CAD 18.15 per hour, with opportunities for additional hours as volumes allow.

Qualifications

• Able to read and memorize postal codes.
• Available for flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Shift is Monday to Friday; 10pm–6am availability.
• Hours vary 3–5 hours per day depending on volumes.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. They may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.

• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

• Must be able to drive/have reliable transportation as there is no active transit after 11 pm.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.

• Ability to read and memorize postal codes

• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week

• Warehouse experience - Preferred

• Shift is Monday to Friday. Must be available to work between 10pm-6am

• Hours per day are not guaranteed and will vary based on volumes (3-5 hours per day, sometimes more)

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.15/hr
