Job summary

UPS in Calgary, AB is hiring a part-time package handler. You will load, unload, scan, sort, and stock packages, using heavy machinery where needed, in a fast-paced environment.

Shift typically starts at 4pm, Monday through Friday, with 3–5 hours per day and varying end times. Applicants should be able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg), memorize postal codes, and be available for flexible hours; warehouse experience is preferred.

Job Description:

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. They may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Warehouse experience - Preferred
• Monday to Friday, shift starts at 4pm
• Shift end time will vary based on volumes.
• Hours per day are not guaranteed and will vary based on volumes (3-5 hours per day, sometimes more)

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.15/hr
