Job summary

UPS in Red Deer, Alberta is seeking a package handler to load, unload, scan, sort, and stock packages in a fast-paced setting. This role may utilize heavy machinery as needed and is essential to maintaining efficient operations across the logistics network.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is preferred.

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours dependent on volume, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday, daily b/w 1am-5:30am; ends at the latest 9:30 am)
• Warehouse experience - Preferred

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.50 per hour
