What you will do:

• Load and unload products in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
• Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites, other branches, or warehouses using the most effective itinerary or assigned route
• Receive incoming shipments and check for accuracy
• Put away products in the correct warehouse areas promptly
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, including preparing shipment documentation
• Liaise with freight companies and customers to determine shipping priorities
• Transport materials to and from customer sites and other local locations
• Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the route
• Load items into trucks while adhering to tight delivery schedules
• Secure materials during transport to prevent damage
• Unload products according to destination rules
• Obtain signatures of acknowledgment of delivery
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety procedures in the warehouse

What you will bring:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Dependability, reliability, and initiative
• Valid G driver’s license
• Clean driver’s abstract (no traffic tickets, points, or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it
• WHMIS and TDG certifications are assets
• Knowledge of plumbing or HVAC products is an asset
