Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Cylinder Handler to join our Hamilton operations. The role involves preparing and painting LPG cylinders, labeling, stamping, and purging, as well as ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling of cylinders.

You will operate a forklift and help prepare orders for shipment to other branches. A strong safety mindset and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Forklift experience is preferred to support day-to-day warehouse activities.
  • Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and paint LPG cylinders to meet quality and appearance standards.
  • Apply labels and barcodes to cylinders for accurate identification and distribution.
  • Stamp and purge cylinders following established safety procedures.
  • Record serial numbers and key information, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Operate a forklift and handle cylinders safely as part of daily tasks.
  • Prepare cylinder orders for shipment to branches and regions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Support additional operational activities and special assignments as needed.

Warehouse Associate - Cylinder Handler (full time)

The Cylinder Handler performs a variety of duties related to the loading, and shipping of cylinders as required.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and painting LPG cylinders of various sizes, ensuring finished products meet quality and appearance standards
  • You will apply labels and barcodes to completed cylinders, ensuring products are accurately identified and ready for distribution
  • The role includes stamping and purging cylinders as required, following established procedures and safety standards
  • You will record serial numbers and other key information, maintaining accurate documentation to support operational and compliance requirements
  • Operating a forklift and safely handling cylinders will be a regular part of your day-to-day responsibilities
  • You will help prepare cylinder orders for shipment to other branches and regions, ensuring products are ready and accurately processed
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment is an important aspect of the role
  • The position also offers the opportunity to support additional operational activities and special assignments as needed to help the team meet its goals

This is a new position with a starting annual salary of $46,960.00
