Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking an In-Store Sales Representative to process walk-in and phone orders and assist customers with welding applications and product selection.

You will upsell gases and welding products, manage branch stock, process payments, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting including SOX. This full-time role requires a high-school diploma and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in industrial supplies or customer service preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders from walk-ins and over the phone.
  • Sell gases and welding products to customers in person and by phone.
  • Upsell gases and welding products to increase branch sales.
  • Process cash, card, and other payment types; amend orders for invoicing.
  • Maintain local inventory and manage branch stock, including surplus inventory.
  • Complete end-of-day, week, and month processes and required reports (SOX, Big 5).
  • Assist customers with welding applications and product selection.

In-Store Sales Representative (full time)

The Inside Sales Representatives receive and process client walk-in or phone orders, inquiries, and / or issues covering items or products ordered along with showroom sales and inquiries from walk-in clients. Accountable for meeting sales targets associated with Linde Canada packaged gas business.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will efficiently process customer orders and respond to walk-in and telephone sales inquiries
  • In addition, you will sell gases and welding products to both walk-in and telephone customers
  • Focus on up-selling gases and other welding products to customers in person and over the phone
  • You shall process all cash, charge, and credit card orders, amending orders as needed for invoicing
  • Maintain local inventory control and manage branch stock, including surplus inventory for hard goods and cylinders
  • Complete end-of-day, week, and month processes including SOX reports, the Big 5 Report, open orders, and workbench tasks
  • Be accountable for the shipping and receiving of customer orders and branch transfers
  • In this role, you will assist customers with welding applications and product selection to ensure Linde products meet their requirements

This is an existing position with a starting annual salary of $58,000.
