Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO: CoolIT Systems seeks a Warehouse Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join our Calgary Distribution team. The role involves performing all warehouse operations including staging, storing, picking, distributing, receiving, and shipping materials. The employee will report to the Warehouse Manager and work on-site full-time.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks involved in staging, storing, picking, distributing, receiving, and shipping of materials.
• Utilize computer and RF equipment for warehouse operations.
• Record accurate information into ERP/WMS systems.
• Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound shipments.
• Participate in daily cycle counts and annual inventory practices.
• Assist Production as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
• Complete hazard assessments and manual lifting procedures.
• Report incidents and near misses.
• Suggest and implement improvements to warehouse operations.

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• 2-3 years in warehouse operations within a technology or hardware manufacturing environment.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education in inventory control or supply chain management.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP/WMS.

Skills:

• Positive attitude, high energy, and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual lifting.
