Job summary

Wolseley Canada seeks a dedicated warehouse team member to support receiving, packing, shipping and inventory control in a fast-paced environment. You’ll load/unload, pick and pack orders, and help ensure on-time delivery to customers.

We value reliability, basic computer skills including MS Office, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is a plus. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Reliable and proactive with initiative.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.
• WHMIS and TDG certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of Plumbing/HVAC products is an asset.
• Outdoor yard work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product to meet delivery deadlines.
• Receive shipments and verify accuracy.
• Put away product in correct locations promptly.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders with proper paperwork.
• Load items into trucks while respecting schedules.
• Secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the warehouse.

What you will do:

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
• Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
• Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.

What you will bring:

• Previous warehouse experience required
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
• Must be dependent and reliable and willing to take initiative
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
• Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
• Outdoor yard work to be performed as required
