Job summary

SaskBattery Dist. Inc. in Saskatoon is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Battery Service Technician to join our team. You will install, service and test automotive batteries for customers while maintaining accurate warehouse operations.

The role runs Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with optional Saturday overtime. A valid Class 5 license and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required; benefits include health coverage and a retirement plan after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education required.
• 7–11 months of experience preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Class 5 driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service skills and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and test automotive batteries for customers.
• Assist with daily warehouse tasks: sorting, labeling, stocking, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Help with various shop tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform in-city deliveries as required.
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday rotation 10 AM–3 PM with overtime pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and test automotive batteries for customers.
• Assist with daily warehouse tasks including sorting, labeling, stocking, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Help with various tasks around the shop to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform in city deliveries as required.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

• $24.00 per hour to start
