Warehouse Associate (4-Months Fixed term)

Position Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Warehousing team in Burnaby, BC on a 4-months fixed term contract. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for supporting all warehousing functions from offloading incoming shipments, processing inventory, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and various other duties.

Ideally, you should have some warehouse experience, but if you want to get your foot in the door working in IT and can adapt to a constantly changing workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy, cleanliness, and safety then this role is perfect for you! We offer onsite training, competitive pay, and a Monday - Friday schedule with day shift hours.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and processing incoming warehouse inventory
• Moving skids into disposal, helping our drivers load or unload trucks (when needed)
• Coordinate shipping with couriers
• Verify documents for correctness on shipping and receiving documents
• Pick and process orders as required and documents for export/shipping
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the shipping area

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 60+ lbs.
• Must have appropriate steel-toe footwear
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check (CPIC)
• Capability to sustain a standing position for extended periods.

Compensation:

In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act the range for this role for BC residents is $23 - $25 per hour. Please note the exact salary is determined based on a combination of your relevant experience, skill, competencies, and internal pay equity.
