Canadian Tire Stores is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for receiving, verifying, storing, and transporting products to the sales floor or within the warehouse, while handling merchandise of varying weights safely throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock.
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard.
• Operate all warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills

• No experience is required!!! – We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
