Role Summary

This position is a replacement opportunity in our company.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, and the supervision of warehouse personnel. The role ensures inventory accuracy, safe work practices, efficient material handling, and compliance with company procedures. The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate and complete inbound and outbound logistics, support and complete manufacturing and assembly activities, maintain warehouse performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support Woodgrove's operational objectives.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities
  • Lead, train, and support warehouse personnel while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory control processes
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including packaging, carrier management, and shipping documentation
  • Support and conduct assembly, testing, packaging, and preparation of Woodgrove equipment for shipment
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
  • Prepare operational reports, monitor warehouse performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field is considered an asset. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead hand, team lead, supervisor, or similar leadership role. Experience managing inventory control processes and shipping/receiving operations. Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Technical and Certifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in using inventory management or ERP software is required.
  • Experience preparing operational and inventory reports.
  • Ability to analyze inventory and warehouse performance data.
  • Valid Ontario forklift certification considered an asset
  • First aid training and health and safety training will be considered an asset

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $58,000.00 to $70,000.00. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
