Job summary

Wesco is hiring immediate Warehouse Associates to support receiving, picking, packing, and shipping duties in a fast-paced distribution environment in Richmond, BC. You will engage in light assembly, wire cutting, and general area maintenance while contributing to a Fortune 250 supply chain team.

Starting pay ranges from $20.04 to $24.05 per hour, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required/ entry level.
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack, ship and maintain assigned areas.
• Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments.
• Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts.
• Relocate and consolidate material.
• Prepare and assemble packing lists.
• Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks.

A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for performing warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as general maintenance of assigned areas.

• Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments
• Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts

Compensation Details

$20.04 - $24.05 Per Hour

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
