Weber Supply is seeking a Warehouse Picker to join our team in Canada. You will pick stock from designated zones, use an RF scanner, and label/ship items accurately through our inventory system.

You will receive products, coordinate with purchasing on discrepancies, and organize items using forklifts or dollies. The role emphasizes safety, daily inventory checks, and clear communication with managers.

Qualifikationen

• Highschool completion or current student status.
• WHMIS knowledge and safe lifting experience are assets.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Aufgaben

• Picks stock from zone locations to fulfill orders.
• Uses an RF scanner to meet picking requirements.
• Prints labels and places totes on the conveyor through the inventory system.
• Receives product and coordinates with purchasing on discrepancies.
• Prints labels and consolidates bulk items into smaller containers for put away.
• Organizes and stores products in predetermined zones.
• Moves products into zones using a dolly or pallet jack.
• Performs daily inventory cycle counts and confirms items picked in the system.
• Packs items ensuring accuracy and professional shipment appearance.
• Builds skids for delivery to customers.
• Communicates daily progress to Warehouse/Executive Management.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping, reports hazards or equipment issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Picks stock from zone locations (upper and main levels) to complete orders for customers
• Utilizes an RF scanner for picking requirements
• Prints labels and places identifiable totes containing orders on the conveyor through our inventory management system
• Receives product efficiently and accurately, collaborating with purchasing department for any discrepancies
• Prints labels and places bulk items in smaller containers for put away
• Organizes and puts away products using predetermined zones
• Places products into zones using a dolly or pallet jack
• Conducts daily cycle count of inventory as per reports
• Confirms number of items picked into inventory system using a handheld device
• Packs product ensuring accuracy of contents and professional appearance of shipments
• Builds skids to be sent to customers
• Communicates daily progress to Warehouse Managers/Executive Management team
• Observes safety regulations i.e. working in a safe manner and wearing the required safety attire at all times
• Maintains good housekeeping including reports of any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Highschool (current student or graduate)
• WHMIS and Safe Lifting knowledge is an asset

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Regularly lift/move objects that range from 10-55 lbs
• Frequent walking, crouching, climbing, carrying, reaching, standing, pushing, and pulling of skids via a pump truck and products via a dolly
• Capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately
