Canadian Tire Stores is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, verify, store, and transport products safely within the warehouse and to the sales floor as needed. The role involves handling merchandise that varies in weight throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to stand/walk for 8 hours and lift/carry items as needed.
• Able to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock and organize inventory space.
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper labeling.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard following safety rules.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (where trained).
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills

• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
