Hercules SLR Inc. in Delta, BC is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to coordinate daily warehouse activities, manage inventory, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires hands-on involvement with shipping, receiving, and loading tasks.

Salary ranges from $20 to $24 per hour with RRSP matching and comprehensive health and dental benefits. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-5, with growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is an asset.
• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Previous customer service experience is an asset.
• Computer skills and ability to use systems for shipping and receiving.
• Previous forklift training is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities and scheduling of outgoing shipments.
• Process customer orders, branch transfers and order picking.
• Unloads, sorts, and organizes incoming shipments and inter-branch transfers.
• Ensure all paperwork for orders is complete and accurate.
• Provide timing and updates to Branch Manager on training or supplies.
• Offer front-counter support and customer service as needed.
• Perform QA checks on outgoing orders and maintain a positive work environment.

Job description

We are looking for a full time Warehouse Associate for our Hercules SLR brand in our Delta, BClocation. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the warehouse, ensuring organization of the area, inventory and equipment and ensuring the efficient and effective execution of customer sales orders, branch transfers and departmental picking.

• Prioritizes daily workflow based on required by dates on orders
• Ensures cycle count activities are completed
• Communicates directly with the Branch Manager on any department requirements for training, supplies or maintenance
• Oversees all shipping and receiving activities
• Prepares, packages and schedules out-going shipments with transport companies
• Unloads and sorts incoming shipments and inter-branch transfers
• Ensures all required paperwork for all orders is complete
• Provides superior customer service by tracking shipments as required
• Provides support to Front Counter Retail Sales when needed and provides excellent customer service to entering customers
• Provides support to Production Team when necessary
• Conducts Quality Assurance (QA) checks on outgoing orders
• Motivates employees and maintains a positive environment

Required knowledge and training

• High school degree or equivalent an asset
• Previous warehouse experience is required
• Previous customer service experience an asset
• Computer skills and ability to use systems for shipping and receiving
• Previous training in forklift operation considered an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
