Job summary

Domtar Corporation in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for full-time permanent placement. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will handle order selection, put-aways and receiving, verify inbound freight against POs in SAP, and prepare outbound freight each evening.

Responsibilities

  • Pick orders, create shipments, load freight, and communicate issues to customer service representatives.
  • Managing inbound activities including entering purchase order receipts, processing returns, booking and recording inbound appointments.
  • Inventory adjustments and movements including short stock inquiries, cancelling orders, cycle counting, and quantity changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer transactions, providing efficient follow-ups, resolving outstanding customer orders or concerns.
  • Maintaining high standards of telephone etiquette and promptness.
  • Liaise with Customer Service and Procurement as required.

The location in Dartmouth, (Nova Scotia, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Warehouse Associate. This job is full-time permanent.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the warehouse associate is responsible for accurate selection of orders, put aways and receiving. Utilizing SAP, the warehouse associate will verify that all inbound freight is correct with the purchase order and enter the inventory into the system. Additionally, the warehouse associate will prepare all outbound freight for pick up each evening. Finally, the warehouse associate will help in the day to day cleaning of the warehouse and perform additional tasks as may be required.
