Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Coquitlam, BC facility to support daily warehouse operations. This on-site role handles, boxes, sorts and labels product to ensure timely delivery to our stores.

The ideal candidate is physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, reliable, and detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Weekend work may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
• Flexibility to work weekends as required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in fashion and/or streetwear is considered an asset.
• Reach Forklift certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving product manually by checking invoices and matching with inventory records.
• Picking and shipping orders efficiently and accurately.
• Manually labeling and organizing product in the warehouse.
• Conducting cycle counts of inventory.
• Daily use of the inventory system.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries by hand, as required.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday morning or evening/afternoon shifts & Saturday to Sunday (8:30AM to 5PM)

The Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Coquitlam Warehouse! This position is responsible for providing support to warehouse team by handling, boxing, sorting, and labeling product. You must have good manual dexterity and be detail oriented. Overall, you will be responsible for the flow of product to our stores and ensure our customers are receiving their items.

• Receiving product manually by checking if the invoice and physical product sent matches and electronically through our inventory system.
• Picking and shipping orders efficiently and accurately.
• Manually labeling and organizing product in the warehouse.
• Conducting cycle counts of inventory.
• Daily use of our inventory system.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries by hand, as required.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment.
